"I'm glad to hear that. For me, not you,"
the younger man said.
Jim looked across the table at him, letting his eyes rove openly over
his good looks and his well-muscled body that clothes couldn't hide.
"I can see why she would be attracted to you."
Michael looked down, embarrassed. "Thanks. I guess. It's a
rather
awkward compliment, isn't it? You must know why I was attracted to
her, too."
"Yes."
Michael put out his hands in a helpless gesture. "Look, I don't know
where this is going; I don't know what I'm supposed to say."
"It's going something like this," Jim began. "I love my wife, more than
anything or anybody on this earth. I love her so much that I'll
forgive her anything she does as long as I can remain in her life and
have her as part of my life. So much that you're moving in with us."
Michael swallowed hard, shaking his head in disbelief.
